Description Support the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of new automation and process equipment. Ensure compliance with electrical standards, hazardous location requirements, and internal safety procedures. Develop and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, loop diagrams, and technical documentation. Support capital project planning and execution for automation and reliability improvements. Manage small to mid-sized electrical and automation projects from concept through completion. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the facility. Profile 5+ years of experience in industrial, process, chemical, or manufacturing automation. Strong knowledge of PLCs, control systems, industrial electrical equipment, and instrumentation. Experience implementing and integrating automation equipment into existing production operations. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and controls issues in a live manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) standards and regulated production settings. Experience with HMI and SCADA platforms such as Ignition or FactoryTalk is preferred. Knowledge of electrical codes, hazardous area classifications, and industrial safety requirements. Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills. A hands-on, proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
