Compensation
$100,000 to $150,000 depending on your skills and years of experience
What You'll Do
Technical Leadership
  • Lead engineering services related to automation, control, and communication systems
  • Design and configure managed switches, LANs, and secure communication infrastructure
  • Develop programming and configurations for system integration and HMI displays
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and critical infrastructure requirements

Project Management
  • Plan and manage technical work with limited supervision
  • Manage deliverables to meet schedule and budget expectations
  • Review and ensure compliance with client standards and specifications
  • Provide QA/QC oversight throughout the project lifecycle

Team Mentorship & Client Engagement
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and consultants
  • Support proposal development, project budgeting, and client communications
  • Contribute to contract negotiations and client development efforts
  • Participate in field work, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • 5+ years of relevant automation or controls engineering experience
  • PE license (or ability to obtain one within 6-12 months)
  • Strong ability to interpret schematics, control logic, and automation programming
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, LAN infrastructure, and standard communication protocols
  • Experience with automation platforms such as GE, Siemens, ABB, or SEL
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Experience with electric utility or renewable energy projects preferred
  • Must pass drug screening, background check, and MVR check
  • Valid driver's license required

Work Environment
