Job description

LHH is seeking an experiencedProcess Control Engineer for a growing industrial manufacturing organization. This role will provide technical leadership for plant automation, process control systems and operational technology initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities. The anticipated salary for this role with be between $100,000-$130,00 a year plus bonus.
Responsibilities:
ยท Support and maintain plant automation and control systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
ยท Develop and implement automation, control system, and instrumentation solutions that enhance safety, quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
ยท Lead configuration, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities for plant operations and capital projects.
ยท Provide technical support for complex control system issues in partnership with operations and maintenance teams.
ยท Manage alarm systems, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and control system enhancements to improve plant performance and reduce risk.
ยท Develop long-term plans for system lifecycle management, upgrades, cybersecurity, and technology standardization.
ยท Support capital projects by defining automation requirements and reviewing engineering deliverables.
ยท Provide technical leadership for multi-site automation initiatives and collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and engineering partners.
ยท Evaluate and implement emerging automation and digital technologies that improve operational effectiveness.
ยท Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
ยท Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
ยท Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV in a manufacturing environment.
ยท Experience within chemical processing, specialty chemicals, refining, petrochemical, oil & gas, or similar process manufacturing industries.
ยท Demonstrated ability to independently administer, support, and enhance a DeltaV control system with minimal supervision.
ยท Experience collaborating with operations teams to define and implement automation and control system improvements.
ยท Experience supporting capital projects involving process automation, controls, and system integration.
ยท Additional training or certifications in DeltaV systems, process controls, industrial automation, or cybersecurity preferred
