Position: Senior Accounting Manager

Location: Vancouver, WA

Wilder Technologies, LLC, based in Vancouver, Washington, develops and manufactures high-speed compliance test fixtures and solutions used in data communications, USB, DisplayPort, HDMI, PCIe, automotive, storage, and other advanced electronics applications. Wilder serves customers worldwide with specialized expertise in high-speed signal integrity, test automation, precision electro-mechanical design, and production.

We are currently seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join the Wilder Technologies finance team in Vancouver, WA. This role will lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and partner with site and business leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and operational decision support. The position reports to finance leadership and will supervise and develop accounting staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and management review schedules.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Amphenol policies.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reporting packages, variance analysis, forecasts, and operational performance reports for site and group leadership.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, sales, and supply chain leaders to analyze product costs, margins, inventory performance, and business trends.
  • Oversee standard cost maintenance, inventory valuation, manufacturing variances, overhead absorption, and excess and obsolete inventory analysis.
  • Support annual budgets, strategic planning, rolling forecasts, and capital expenditure analysis, including payback and return-on-investment reviews.
  • Maintain effective internal controls and support Sarbanes-Oxley and COSO compliance, including documentation, testing, remediation, and close checklists.
  • Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for revenue recognition, leases, fixed assets, reserves, and other technical accounting matters.
  • Coordinate financial information and schedules for external auditors, tax teams, corporate finance, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, document, and improve accounting processes, reporting tools, and ERP workflows to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, working-capital improvement, and stronger financial controls, and track progress with functional leaders.
  • Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while establishing clear priorities, performance expectations, and cross-training plans.
  • Support finance integration and other special projects across Wilder Technologies and the Amphenol organization.
  • Perform other duties and travel occasionally as business needs require.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including experience in a manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Prior experience supervising or leading an accounting team.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
  • Experience supporting monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and operational financial analysis.
  • ERP experience required; experience improving accounting systems, reporting, or workflows is preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate complex accounting and operational data into clear business insights.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, judgment, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a continuous-improvement mindset and a high degree of integrity.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 – $160,000 USD annually. In determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and matching 401K. Our Field Applications Engineers are also eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus program and provided with a company vehicle.
