Whatโs a typical day as Warehouse Material Handler? Youโll be:
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
- Receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping warehouse inventory.
- Using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for efficient inventory control.
- Sorting and packing less-than-truckload shipments and conducting cycle counts.
- Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Are at least 18 years old and have a good attendance record with a strong work ethic (required).
- Can meet the physical requirements: lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and working in changing temperatures; must also pass pre-employment physical testing.
- Have no fear of heights and are comfortable moving throughout a large warehouse.
- Have 2+ years of warehouse experience (preferred), especially with warehouse management systems.
- Have experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (preferred).
