The CNC Machinist I operates and adjusts semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Due to ITAR and U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible for employment. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas.
2nd Shift: 1:30pm - 12:00am Monday-Thursday
Compensation
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $26.00 to $35.05. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.
Essential Functions
  • Adjusts, checks out programming and operates semi-automatic or automatic CNC machines with minimum supervision
  • Check parts to conformance to specifications

Required
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude

Preferred
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • 1 year of related experience
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings
