We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Analyst to join our Application Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of quality assurance practices, with the ability to create and execute test cases, perform automated and manual testing, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Experience in the banking and/or trading domain is highly desirable.

responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Analyze business and system requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web and software applications.
  • Utilize tools such as Quality Center and JIRA to track test execution, manage defects, and ensure transparency of QA progress.
  • Work closely with Software Developers, IT Analysts, and Business Users to understand functionality, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Use SQL to validate data and perform backend testing.
  • Document and maintain test plans, test cases, and test results
  • Execute automated test scripts and support the development of new automation as needed.
  • Test across different browsers and environments to ensure consistent behavior and usability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in test strategy and QA processes

qualifications:

Required Skills and Qualifications:


Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.


Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development frameworks.


Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Quality Center and JIRA.


Proficient in SQL for data validation and back-end testing.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills for requirement interpretation and reporting.


Experience writing and executing detailed test cases and test scripts.


Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.


Familiarity with cross-browser-based testing.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks . (e.g. Playwright, ReadyAPI, Test Complete, JMeter)


Experience testing financial applications or portfolio management systems is a plus.


Exposure to CI/CD tools and practices.


Basic knowledge of scripting languages or programming for automation support.
