Job description

Job Summary:
Cymertek Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join their team and ensure the quality and reliability of their software products. The role involves designing, developing, and executing test plans and cases while collaborating with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop automated test scripts
• Execute automated tests and analyze results
• Identify, document, and track defects in the system
• Work closely with developers to understand system functionality
• Develop and maintain test plans and cases
• Ensure test coverage and adherence to quality standards
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP)
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
• Understanding of software testing methodologies
• Ability to design and implement automated tests for various platforms
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Information Systems, Robotics, etc.
• TS/SCI Full Poly clearance (requires full U.S. Citizenship)
Preferred:
• Experience with performance testing tools
• Knowledge of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman)
• Familiarity with cloud testing frameworks
• Expertise in test-driven development (TDD)
• Proficiency in database testing and validation
• Experience with mobile application testing automation
