This role is responsible for operating and monitoring automated packaging equipment to ensure fasteners are packed accurately, labeled correctly, and meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with steady hours and room for long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
ยท Operate automated packaging equipment, including conveyors, counting systems, baggers, labelers, scales, and related packline machinery
ยท Load fasteners such as bolts, nuts, screws, washers, clips, and other automotive components into packaging systems
ยท Inspect parts and packaging for defects, mixed parts, incorrect labels, damage, or quantity errors
ยท Verify part numbers, work orders, labels, packaging instructions, lot numbers, and customer requirements
ยท Record production quantities, quality checks, downtime, scrap, and other required documentation
Qualifications and Requirements:
ยท Previous manufacturing, packaging, machine operation, or warehouse experience preferred
ยท Ability to read work orders, labels, part numbers, and packaging instructions
ยท Strong attention to detail to help prevent mixed parts, labeling errors, and packaging issues
ยท Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive movements
