Responsibilities: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities

Design, implement, andmaintainintegrations between enterprise SaaS platforms used across Autodesk. Build automated workflows and services that enable seamless data exchange, system interoperability, and secure access management between tools such asAirtable,Productboard, Jira, and other collaboration and work management platforms. Leverage RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript to construct integrations that are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Develop custom APIs and middleware services, transforming and normalizing data for cross-system compatibility, and creating system-level automation to reduce manual effort and error. Work with authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys, SSO) and enforce access controls across integrated systems. Security and compliance are essential aspects of the role, as the engineer ensures integrations adhere to corporate governance and privacy standards.Collaborate closely with stakeholders from product, engineering, and security teams toidentifybusiness needs and design technical solutions accordingly. Develop alerting and remediation workflows, support platform migrations, and contribute to strategic tooling decisions. MinimumRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation.Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Special Requirements: Position requires at least five (5) years of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Utilize knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and Bash/PowerShell to script integrations and automate workflows

  • Utilize knowledge of JSON, XML, and CSV formats to transform and normalize data across SaaS platforms

  • Utilize knowledge of GDPR and corporate security policies to ensure compliance across all integrated platforms

Position requires at least two (2) years of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Utilize knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth authentication, and webhooks to design secure, scalable system integrations

  • Utilize knowledge of deployment and configuration tools to manage end-to-end integration and production rollouts

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for integration-related issues across enterprise applications

  • Utilize knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) and Azure for cloud-based application deployment and integration

  • Utilize knowledge of Power BI and Tableau to generate visual reports and support data-driven decision-making

  • Utilize knowledge of Jira and Confluence to document technical specifications, user guides, and collaborative project plans

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between$202,112and $234,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographiclocation, andmay exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
