Are you passionate about building ecosystems and enabling partners to create the next generation of applications on a global platform?Autodesk Platform Services (APS) provides APIs, cloud services, and business accelerators that empower customers and partners-from startups to global enterprises-to build innovative applications and connect workflows and business systems across the Design & Make industries.

We are looking for aBusiness Development Managerto accelerate the adoption of Autodesk Platform Services (APS) across strategic partners, customers, and the developer community in theU.S. and Canada. In this role, you willidentifynew business opportunities, help existing and new partners build innovative solutions, and expand Autodesk'splatform and AI ecosystemacross industries.In this role, you will help shape the next generation of the Autodesk ecosystem by enabling partners to build applications,automateworkflows, integratebusiness systems, and unlock the value of data across the Design & Make industries.

Location: We are open to candidates in the United States or Canada on the East Coast. Autodesk office locationpreferred;remote (home office) possible.

Responsibilities

Grow the Platform Ecosystem:

  • Identify, recruit, and develop strategicpartnersbuilding applications with APS

  • Enable partners to create scalable platform-based solutions that extend Autodesk products, solutions,and workflows

  • Build strong relationships with software companies, system integrators, and technology partners

Drive Platform Adoption:

  • Identifyopportunities where APS can create value through customization, automation, integrations, AI, and data platforms

  • Partner with Autodesk sales teams to position APS as a strategic platform for enterprise customers

  • Promote platform-based business models that unlock new value for partners and customers through thought leadership, event presentations, and digital content such as YouTube recordings

LeadStrategic Initiatives:

  • Identifytrends in AI, data platforms, and digital transformation across the Design & Make industries

  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies that expand the APS ecosystem

  • Support strategic initiatives around AI, sustainability, and digital transformation

Engage the Developer Community:

  • Support the growth of the Autodesk developer ecosystem through events, hackathons, and industry conferences

  • Collaborate with developer relations and product teams to improve platform adoption and developer experience

  • Highlight partner success stories and ecosystem innovation

Collaborate Across Autodesk:

  • Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams

  • Provide insights from partners and customers to help shape the APS roadmap

  • Support strategic relationships with leading technology companies

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or platform ecosystems

  • Experience working with APIs, cloud platforms, or developer ecosystems

  • Strong understanding of software platforms, integrations, and digital transformation

  • Ability to engage effectively with business and technical teams as well as executive stakeholders

  • Willingness to travel 20-30% for customer and partner meetings, industry events, and ecosystem engagements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering,Computer Science,IT, ora relatedtechnical field

PreferredQualifications

  • Experience with platform ecosystems, marketplaces, developerprogramsor marketplaces

  • Familiarity withmajorcloud platforms such as AWS,MicrosoftAzure, or Google Cloud

  • Experience working with startups, enterprise software vendors, ISVs, or GSIs

  • Master's degree in Engineering,Computer Science,IT, ora relatedtechnical field.MBA,or PGDMis a plus

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $102,000 and $182,710. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
