About the Opportunity

Reliance One, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Engineer / Operations & Production Scheduler to support manufacturing operations in Wixom, MI. This role is responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing build timelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements, and supporting cross-functional teams throughout the manufacturing and project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience working within manufacturing, engineering, or production environments. Experience with Autodesk Inventor, including Tube & Pipe design, is highly desirable.


Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules to support manufacturing operations and customer commitments.

• Coordinate production builds, project timelines, and key manufacturing milestones.

• Monitor compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal quality requirements.

• Attend planning and status meetings, documenting action items, decisions, and follow-up activities.

• Communicate effectively with engineering, production, quality, and management teams to ensure project alignment.

• Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

• Prepare, review, and submit compliance documentation and self-submittals.

• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain compliance records, reports, and databases.

• Assist with engineering documentation, drawings, and design revisions as needed.

• Utilize Autodesk Inventor for design reviews, modifications, and engineering support activities.

• Support Tube & Pipe routing, layouts, and manufacturing documentation.

• Coordinate resources and schedules to optimize operational efficiency and production performance.


Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent applied engineering experience required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related discipline preferred.

• Experience with production scheduling and planning.

• Project coordination and resource management experience.

• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory documentation processes.

• Experience with technical writing and document control.

• ERP/MRP system experience preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Autodesk Inventor required.

• Experience with Tube & Pipe design and documentation is a plus.

• Manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial production experience preferred.
