Corporate Engineer / Manufacturing
Location: Cold Spring, KY (Cincinnati Area)

Travel: Approximately 20โ30% U.S. travel required, including overnight stays
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Engineer to support capital projects, process improvements, equipment upgrades, and safety initiatives across multiple industrial manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for project scope development, detailed engineering design, budgeting, scheduling, and implementation support for a variety of industrial process systems and plant equipment.
This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone who thrives in industrial plant environments, enjoys solving complex process and equipment challenges, and can work independently with minimal supervision. The position offers exposure to a wide range of projects and the opportunity to support meaningful operational improvements across multiple facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical or process engineering background, excellent communication skills, and experience supporting manufacturing, industrial processing, utility, or process engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop project scope, budgets, schedules, and implementation plans for engineering and process improvement projects
Design, size, and select industrial process equipment including:
Generate and maintain:
Partner with Instrumentation & Controls, Automation, Electrical, CAD, and Installation teams to support project execution and company engineering standards
Coordinate with internal and external vendors/resources for equipment sizing, specifications, and technical support
Support installation activities and ensure field modifications are documented and updated appropriately in project drawings and closeout documentation
Communicate project scope changes, technical challenges, and process improvement recommendations throughout project lifecycle
Provide technical troubleshooting and engineering support for plant operations and installation issues
Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization, communication, and schedule alignment
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline required
5โ10+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, process, or project engineering environments
Strong understanding of industrial mechanical systems, process engineering, and plant operations
Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision
Strong communication, technical writing, and organizational skills
Comfortable working in industrial plant environments and traveling as needed
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred Experience
Mechanical or Process Engineering background preferred
Experience within:
Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or other 3D CAD platforms
Familiarity with structural steel, concrete, or general structural analysis
Experience generating P&IDs, PFDs, and process documentation
Experience supporting equipment installation and industrial capital projects
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in industrial plant environments that may be hot, dirty, and physically demanding
Ability to travel domestically approximately 20โ30%, including occasional short-notice travel
