Summary:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for production equipment maintenance and ensures continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modifications, as well as perform basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified. Performs responsibilities of production corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery. Communicates with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas. Responsible for keeping records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works completed. Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment following all safety requirements. Prepare and maintains maintenance related documents, daily reports, check sheets, preventative maintenance documents. Research and request quotations from suppliers (equipment, tools, fixtures, purchased components, etc.) Other tasks as assigned.Other equipment maintenance and repair tasks assignedAll other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)Required Education & Experience:High School Diploma or GED with 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience.Associate Degree in Maintenance or other Technical related field and 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience.Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
