Job description

The job function will be to support projects from a technical, commercial, and timing point of view. We expect this individual to have a solid background of our product, to develop supplementary quotes, update program schedules and be a support contact to the customer.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Provide the team with deadlines for different stages throughout the project's lifecycle
  • Participate in meetings with the project team to answer questions and announce schedule or budget changes
  • Maintain an open issues list that tracks all the project issues
  • Support making effective changes when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Support technical evaluation of the scope of supply at order placement
  • Elaboration of customer time schedules
  • Analysis of customer inquiries during the program & submittal of supplementary quotes
  • Coordination of the project involvement of the key persons on both sites
  • Program review meetings with the customer
  • Internal job order release in case of a supplementary order through customer
  • Support cost management of the project with a project cost book

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to comprehend 2-D drawings / 3D Models
  • Proficient use of AutoCAD (2012 and higher)
  • Knowledge of mechanical design, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

General Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong math skills and understanding of mechanics
