This service is commonly used by car dealerships, manufacturers, and individuals who need to move vehicles over long distances. Auto trucking companies use open or enclosed carriers to safely transport vehicles, ensuring they arrive at their destination without damage. The process typically involves scheduling pickup and delivery, preparing the vehicle for transport, and tracking its journey. Choosing a reliable auto trucking company is important for peace of mind and the safety of your vehicle.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in auto trucking?

To thrive in Auto Trucking, you need a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), a solid understanding of road safety regulations, and experience handling large vehicles. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and vehicle maintenance tools is typically required. Strong time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills help drivers manage routes and address challenges on the road.
