Job description

Our Collision & Glass teams play a key role in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition, delivering quality repairs and exceptional service our customers can trust.

Compensation: $55,000-$65,000/year
What You'll Do:
  • Perform mobile and on-site removal and installation of auto glass
  • Utilize hand and power tools to remove and re-install moldings, wipers, mirrors, windshields and all other automotive glass according to specifications
  • Ensure required paperwork is completed and turned in to the office at Bloomington location
  • Verify replacement glass & moldings are in good condition before heading to job site
  • Properly load and transports parts to the installation site
  • Communicate on a regular basis with glass office regarding any changes in scheduled work or completion status of vehicles
  • Work closely with office with any concerns, questions, or suggestions
  • Review schedule to verify timeframes set up by office with customers
  • Collect payment, while in the field, for out of pocket expenses or deductibles that are noted on paperwork
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding the glass replacement and repair process
  • Obtain customer's signature for work completed on paperwork
  • Notify customer of safe drive time and to not wash vehicle for 24 hours after installation
  • Participate in technical training and stays current on industry advancements
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Adhere to all OSHA safety and compliance standards. Ensure MSDS are up to date, report all accidents and injuries immediately to supervisor and communicate unsafe situations to help prevent accidents
  • Conduct themselves in accordance with internal policies and procedures
  • All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

What You Bring:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 2+ years of experience preferred
  • Perform Glass repairs/replacements on mobile service site (both indoors and outdoors) without direct supervision
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, stretch, lift (50-75 lbs.) and be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
