  • About Glaser’s Collision Center’s

Glaser’s Collision Center is a family owned and operated collision center that has been servicing the Louisville market for over 30 years.

Founded in 1986, Gene and Susan Glaser started Glaser’s Automotive as a full-service automotive repair shop. Gene Glaser came from a background of construction workers, but always had a passion for cars. After spending many years building homes, he decided to follow his heart and open an auto shop. The original shop did full mechanical work, body, paint, interior repairs, and high-performance upgrades. Over the course of the next few years, the Team decided to narrow its focus in order to provide its customer with the best possible collision repair service. Glaser’s Collison Center was born, and a new shop was built to better suit the growing collision repair business. The Jeffersontown location was built in 1990 and then expanded in 1998. This location serves as the headquarters for Glaser’s and is the largest of the 3 locations. This location is very fortunate to have some long-time employees who have helped shape Glaser’s into what it is. The senior leader at this location is Craig Davis who has been with the company for 30 years!

In 1999, The company started its second location in the heart of Louisville. The Preston Hwy location operated for several years before building a state-of-the-art facility at 3331 Preston Hwy. In 2008, with a lack of quality-oriented shops in the area, several insurance companies motivated Glaser’s to start its third location in Shepherdsville to assist in the underserved market. This location has seen continued growth over the years and will soon be moving into a new facility.

Today, the business is being carried on by second generation owners Aaron and Heather Glaser. Keeping up with today’s sophisticated vehicles has remained a focus for the Team over the last few years. All 5 Glaser’s locations have maintained I-Car Gold Class status, have I-Car trained welders, and hold several certifications from OEM manufactures.

The Team’s focus on quality does not go unnoticed, with Glaser’s having won Best Body Shop in Louisville several times, as well as voted Best Place to Work by Fender Bender Magazine.
