Job description
Location: Irvine, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Rate: $19-$21 an hour | Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Auto Body Buffer/Polisher to join our busy collision repair facility. If you take pride in producing high-quality finishes and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Buff and polish freshly painted vehicles and panels to achieve a flawless finish.
- Color sand painted surfaces to remove imperfections.
- Remove dust nibs, orange peel, runs, and other paint defects.
- Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure they meet quality standards after delivery.
- Perform final quality control checks on paint appearance and finish.
- Assist with minor trim and molding reassembly after polishing.
- Perform final vehicle cleaning and detailing after customer delivery.
- Maintain buffing and polishing equipment in good working condition.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Work closely with painters and body technicians to ensure timely vehicle completion.
- Follow all shop safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience as an automotive buffer/polisher preferred.
- Knowledge of color sanding and paint correction techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
