Job Summary:
The Desk Sales Manager is responsible for leading and supporting the sales team, maximizing deal potential, and ensuring a consistent, customer focused process is followed from greeting to close.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Desk deals and support salespeople through every stage of the transaction
  • Train and coach the sales team daily on product knowledge, selling techniques, and process
  • TO deals and assist in closing with consistency and integrity
  • Track sales metrics and maintain gross profit goals
  • Build rapport with customers and maintain strong CSI standards
  • Lead daily sales meetings and maintain accountability across the floor
  • Partner with the General Manager and F&I to streamline deal flow
  • Monitor inventory and work with management to identify opportunities
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and team morale
  • Promote and enforce dealership processes and compliance standards

Qualifications:
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a dealership sales management or desk manager role required
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools, DMS platforms, and desking software
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of performance and closing ability
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Working Conditions:
  • This position works primarily indoors with some outdoor activity
  • Must be available to work a full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends as required
