The Automotive Sales Associate is responsible for providing an exceptional customer purchasing experience. The Sales Associate will ensure the customer receives all the information they are looking for, and present brand specific knowledge on new and pre‐owned vehicles while assisting in their buying decision. Utilize our CRM system to ensure timely, professional follow‐up and maintain strong relationships with sold and prospective customers. Compensation A paid 90‐day training program (guarantee) Aggressive performance compensation plan Job Description Greet customers in a prompt, friendly and professional manner. Gather customer contact & interest information from new customers and accurately enter it in the CRM. Maintain rapport with previous and potential customers by suggesting trade‐ins, responding to inquiries, recommending sales campaigns and promotions, and following up on all leads from various sources. Provide professional product presentations by demonstrating knowledge of characteristics, capabilities, features, warranties, and services. Continuously build knowledge of new and updated product information. Offer and accompany customers on demonstration ride(s). Schedule and maintain a personal calendar for customer appointments and/or follow‐ups. Attend and actively participate in daily sales/training meetings to assist in reaching individual and department goals. Maintain appearance and cleanliness of inventory on the display lots and showrooms. Qualify buyers by understanding their requirements and interests. Close sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, negotiating price, completing sales or purchase contracts, explaining provisions, and offering warranties, services, and financing; collect payment and deliver vehicle if applicable. Enhance dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Advancement Opportunities Structured training programs for advancement to move forward into a new role within the company. Sales Associate works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Sales Manager, Sales Manager, and General Sales Manager. Sales Associate to Finance Manager: experienced sales personnel will have an opportunity to train for Finance. Finance Manager to Sales Manager or Pre‐Owned Sales Manager: experienced Finance Manager will have an opportunity to train for Sales Manager. Sales Manager to General Sales Manager: experienced Sales Managers will have the opportunity to train and become a leader within the company, and eventually become a General Manager. Environmental & Physical Requirements The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and hear.
