We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.
Summary
This position will be responsible for executing the directives of the warehouse department at Port Hueneme, CA, by loading and unloading trucks, overseeing shipping/receiving and delivering parts to appropriate departments. Must be open to overtime.
Compensation
$25.14 per hour
Responsibilities
Load/unload trucks, transport pallet/skids within the facility
- Delivering packages and parts received to the appropriate person or department
- Inspect and review rejected parts from VPC/Heavy Departments
- Store and track GM parts/materials
- Stocking throw-in line with PIO parts as needed
Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Parts
- Assist in reconciling monthly inventory
- Shipping, preparing shipments of PIO/Warranty/Body Shop/Campaign parts.
- Receiving, comparing parts received to Packing list and communicating any and all discrepancies.
- Communicate any inventory issues with Customer Service
- Maintains a separate log of all PIO parts received.
- Receive replacement parts for defectives that are missing components and restores them to like-new condition
Assist in Rejected parts
- Maintain forklift and golf cart batteries
- Store and quarantine hazardous materials
- Clean and maintain warehouse
Other duties as assigned
- Break down used pallets and boxes
- Help with GM and Honda port runs when needed
- Help in Throw-in dept to distribute accessory parts when needed.

Skills
  • Speak, read and write in English Required
  • Knowledge of Forklift (sit down and stand-up); pallet jack experience Required
  • Hand held scanner experience Preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume vehicle logistics or production environment Required

Education & Experience
  • H.S Diploma/G.E.D Required
  • 1 year experience in Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving Required
  • Trained in Forklift (sit down and stand up) and pallet jack
  • Valid state driver's license Required

  • Will be operating heavy machinery such as forklift and pallet jack
  • Frequent use of hand/grasping- for product and computer
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop for 5+ hours per day
  • Stand and walk constantly 5+ hours per day
  • Sit, drive, bend, stoop, climb, reach over shoulder, kneel, balance, push, pull, squat, crouch 1-3 hours per day
  • Lift and carry up to 50lbs frequently
