Auto photography is the specialized field of taking high-quality photographs of vehicles, such as cars, trucks, and motorcycles, for various purposes including advertising, sales listings, magazines, and social media. Auto photographers use techniques to highlight a vehicle’s features, design, and condition, often working with dealerships, manufacturers, and private sellers. The role requires an understanding of lighting, angles, and editing to ensure the vehicle looks its best and appeals to potential buyers or enthusiasts.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an auto photographer?
