Ed Morse is currently seeking an Automotive  WAREHOUSE Dispatcher to join our team.

Role Overview:

We are a fast-paced, growing wholesale auto parts distribution company serving Illinois and the 6 surrounding states. Our mission is to provide efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of quality parts to our customers.

We're currently seeking a Warehouse Dispatcher who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving problems, managing logistics, and keeping things moving.

Responsibilities
  • Position Summary:

    The Dispatcher plays a crucial role in our daily operations-coordinating delivery routes, assisting with truck loading, locating parts, and supporting drivers on the road. You'll be the communication hub between sales, warehouse and our delivery fleet, ensuring deliveries run smoothly and efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Schedule and coordinate delivery routes for drivers
    • Assist Drivers daily in loading delivery trucks accurately and efficiently
    • Locate missing or misfiled parts prior to driver departure
    • Take incoming calls from drivers and provide real-time problem solving and support
    • Track parts inventory to ensure availability and accuracy
    • Communicate with warehouse team to locate or replace lost items
    • Adjust routes and dispatch plans based on traffic, driver issues, or customer changes
    • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, part issues, and driver reports
    • Ensure drivers leave on time and with correct manifests and parts

Qualifications
  • What We're Looking For:

    • Experience: Prior dispatch, logistics, or warehouse experience preferred (auto parts industry a plus)
    • Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
    • Technical: Basic computer skills (routing software, spreadsheets, etc.)
    • Physical: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and assist with loading trucks.
    • Personality: Organized, reliable, calm under pressure, and team-oriented
    • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN
