Equipment Service Technician | Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Location: Edmonton or Calgary, AB

Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy solving problems? Do you like working independently, getting out of the shop, and helping customers keep critical equipment running?

AUTEC Car Wash Systems is looking for an Equipment Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial car wash equipment throughout Alberta.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working directly with customers. No Red Seal is required. If you've repaired, installed, or maintained mechanical equipment, we'll provide the product-specific training you need to become an expert.

You'll receive a fully equipped company vehicle, ongoing technical training, and the tools to build a long-term career.

What You'll Do

  • Install and commission commercial car wash equipment at customer locations.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control system issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
  • Replace and service components including pumps, motors, valves, hoses, switches, fittings, and sensors.
  • Test, calibrate, and verify equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
  • Train customers on proper equipment operation and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Complete service reports, work orders, and maintenance documentation.
  • Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and service parts inventory.
  • Follow all company and customer safety procedures.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while building strong, long-term relationships.

What You'll Bring

  • Hands-on mechanical experience repairing, maintaining, or installing equipment.
  • Experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or plumbing systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and schematics.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel throughout your assigned territory.

Experience We Value

Physical Requirements
