DESCRIPTION
Meineke Car Care is seeking productive Automotive Mechanics to become an integral part of our team. We are looking for additional team members to handle increased volume. You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul all types of automotive vehicles. We offer competitive pay, weekly commission, monthly bonuses, and time off accommodations. A.S.E Certifications, Master Mechanic is a plus
  • 2+ years of Automotive Technician experience
  • Knowledge of shop tools and equipment a must

Automotive Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities:
  • Ability to diagnose and repair customer vehicles
  • Perform digital multi-point safety inspection of vehicle
  • Ability to diagnose issues with variety of makes and models of cars/trucks/SUVs
  • Perform suspension, steering, brake, engine, fluid exchange and alignment work
  • A complete set of tools and diagnostic aids
  • Ability to repair different makes and models including Domestic and European
  • Clean shop and common areas
  • Provide clear written estimates to sales team to assist customers with understanding diagnosis

Automotive Technician / Mechanic Requirements:
  • ASE training preferred with 2 plus years "SHOP" experience
  • 609 Certification (Desired)
  • Multi-point inspection and maintenance experience
  • Good attitude
  • Must have a clean valid California driver's license (Mandatory)
  • Attention to detail
  • Cleanliness and thoroughness
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
