Become a Key Player as an Assembler/Tester B

You will accurately assemble and test mechanical products to meet quality and on-time delivery goals, supporting production and quality teams. This is an onsite second-shift role (2:30pm–11:00pm, Mon–Fri) based in Irvine; the position is temp-to-hire and safety sensitive (subject to random drug testing).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Perform basic mechanical assembly and test functions using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, and assembly fixtures.
  • Record test results and complete required data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives to produce assemblies that meet specifications.
  • Perform finishing tasks such as touch-up or full surface painting and part cleaning as needed.
  • Participate in lean initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Maintain a FOD-free work area, follow safety rules, and ensure equipment calibration per schedule.
  • May perform lockwiring, first-stage subassembly, final detailing, and other related responsibilities as assigned.
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • 0–1 year general mechanical work experience.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong mechanical reasoning.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
  • Ability to stand approximately 50% of the time and lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Basic math, verbal and written communication, and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment and apply newly learned techniques.
  • Willingness to work second shift and treat this job as your primary employment (no second job allowed).
  • Ability to participate in team environments and apply lean practices.
