Job description

We are currently seeking an Automotive Electrician - (Auto, 12 Volt, Manufacturer)! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers in a growing truck equipment and manufacturing facility.

This position is responsible for installing electrical lighting and equipment, programming systems and components, troubleshooting possible component and electrical issues, and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately in compliance with Phenix electrical department and OSHA standards. Team members are expected to follow company drawings and prints, maintain tools and equipment, perform safety and quality checks, and collaborate effectively to complete projects on time.

Essential Job Functions:

In order to perform this job successfully, team members must be able to perform the essential job functions listed below.

  • Troubleshoot and test electrical issues.
  • Install electrical lighting and equipment.
  • Program systems and components.
  • Apply knowledge of electrical code compliance.
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
  • Use electrical equipment and hand tools/power tools.
  • Apply mathematical skills as needed for the role.
  • Follow OSHA safety regulations.
  • Perform repetitive tasks.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.
  • Verify dimensions and product specifications accurately.

A combination of relevant work experience, safety awareness, basic mathematical skills, and the ability to follow detailed drawings, prints, and specifications will be considered.
