Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking a full-time Automotive Detailer to join our growing dealership team. In this hands-on role, you'll help keep our vehicles in showroom-ready condition, working both inside and out to deliver a spotless finish for every customer. Whether you've worked in a car wash, janitorial, cleaning, or another hands-on role, we provide the training and support to help you build a successful career in the automotive industry.


Compensation

  • $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Wash vehicle exteriors and clean interior windows, mirrors, and door jambs
  • Vacuum seats, carpets, and floor mats to remove dirt and debris
  • Shampoo and deep-clean upholstery and rugs
  • Apply waxes, tire dressing, and interior protectants (vinyl, leather, and fabric)
  • Use specialty cleaners to remove stains and tough materials
  • Inspect for and report visible defects like dents, scratches, and damaged upholstery
  • Recondition interiors, engine bays, and painted surfaces
  • Touch up minor paint or trim issues and replace missing small parts
  • Maintain all showroom and lot vehicles in clean condition
  • Refuel vehicles and remove all stickers from sold units
  • Keep the lot organized and your work area clean and safe
  • Report any issues or hazards to management

Requirements

  • Prior cleaning experience required (car wash, janitorial, or related field).
  • Prior detailing experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet throughout the day
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • No automotive experience required-we'll provide the training
