We specialize in automotive collision repairs, from minor dents to major bodywork. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Auto Body Refinisher / Painter to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Auto Body Refinisher / Painter is responsible for preparing and refinishing damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition using industry-standard techniques, tools, and materials. The successful candidate must be able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while consistently maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform sanding, masking, priming, and sealing of repaired surfaces.
  • Mix and match paint to ensure accurate color matching.
  • Apply base coat, clear coat, and other finishes using spray equipment.
  • Inspect and ensure the final finish meets quality standards.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for safety and environmental compliance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in minor bodywork when required.
  • Perform quality control inspections before and after painting.
  • Work collaboratively with prep and body technicians to ensure workflow efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive refinishing or painting.
  • Red Seal Certification or Journeyman.
  • Proficient in color mixing and blending techniques.
  • Familiarity with waterborne and solvent-based paint systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer - no sponsorship is available now or in the future.
