Position Summary

As an Auto Bodily Injury Claims Specialist, you will manage a caseload of bodily injury and casualty claims from investigation through resolution. You will analyze coverage, evaluate liability and damages, negotiate settlements, and maintain accurate claim documentation while ensuring compliance with company procedures and state regulations.

Schedule
  • Mondayโ€“Friday
  • 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM โ€“ 5:30 PM
  • Hybrid schedule after training (training is approximately 90 days)

Key Responsibilities
  • Review assigned claims and determine appropriate courses of action.
  • Conduct thorough investigations regarding coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Document claim activity accurately and maintain complete claim files.
  • Handle bodily injury and coverage claims in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with claimants, attorneys, third parties, medical providers, and management throughout the claims process.
  • Research applicable case law and state statutes to support claim investigations and evaluations.
  • Evaluate claims and prepare recommendations for settlement authority.
  • Monitor claim expenses and maintain cost-effective claim handling practices.
  • Notify reinsurers on qualifying claims.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired
  • 3โ€“5 years of Auto Bodily Injury and/or Casualty Claims experience.
  • Texas All-Lines Adjuster License.
  • Strong understanding of legal and medical terminology.
  • Experience investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving bodily injury claims.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an automated claims processing environment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, attorneys, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Knowledge of policy interpretation, claim procedures, state regulations, and fraud prevention practices.
Preferred
  • Multi-State Adjuster Licensing.
  • Non-Standard Auto Insurance experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish preferred but not required).
