Auto Mechanic Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Auto Mechanic to join our growing company. You will be responsible for inspecting customer vehicles, diagnosing problems with the engine or other systems, perform routine maintenance, and complete necessary repairs. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service, so you must be friendly and passionate about giving our customers the best repair experience possible.

Auto Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform basic maintenance, upgrading/motor swaps, complete wiring systems, & diagnostics.
  • Identify issues, repair or replace worn parts and systems, such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, sensors, transmissions, motors, & accessories.
  • Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all repairs, parts, and systems are working properly.
  • Identify mechanical and electrical problems with both manual and computerized diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately, aiming for maximum reliability.
  • Keep logs of work and report on issues on a daily basis.

Auto Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Completion of a postsecondary program in automotive service technology a plus
  • Knowledge of carbureted motors, motor swaps, & customizations
  • Experience with electronic systems maintenance and repair
  • Commitment to the health & safety guidelines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license & own tools
