Job Summary:
RK Auto is seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to join our team at our Virginia Beach location. As a used car Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of pre-owned vehicles. This is a Full Time - base plus commission role in the Auto industry with the opportunity for growth and development.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $18 to $30 per hour, paid weekly. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing and repair on a variety of pre-owned vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Use electronic tools and equipment to diagnose and repair vehicle issues
- Inspect vehicles for potential issues and provide recommendations for necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Keep accurate records of all services performed
- Meet or exceed performance and productivity targets set by the management team
- Communicate with customers regarding vehicle repairs and service recommendations in a friendly and professional manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technician in the auto industry
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- ASE certification is a plus
