SUMMARY
The Dealer Field Support department's primary objective is to train and support the Auto Program Dealer Network to ensure participating auto dealers excel in the Auto Program. Dealer Trainers are responsible for supporting Dealers within an assigned territory by conducting detailed, phone-based, training on a variety of topics and updating Dealer files using established Auto Program processes. Trainers need to be able to enthusiastically deliver content with confidence and professionalism during all training calls. Trainers work as part of a service-oriented team and are willing to contribute to the team by accomplishing any related tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate phone-based training sessions on a variety of topics related to our Auto Programs; including training Dealers on how to use our website and program tools
  • Assist Dealers in completing post training program certification
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to Dealer requests post training
  • Build and create rapport with assigned Dealers and Field Representatives
  • Process on-line tickets to update Dealer information in the Company's customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Provide ongoing support for Field Representatives in assigned territories
  • Take detailed notes and document all Dealer conversations in the CRM software
  • Coordinate with our Dealer Schedulers to communicate scheduling needs
  • Contribute to manufacturer promotions by training participating program Dealers
  • Attend and participate in department meetings
  • Maintain open communication with the Department Manager and Executive Director
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Two-year College or university; and/or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent follow-up, relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented; able to multi-task and stay organized
  • Friendly demeanor & positive attitude
  • Self-motivated, must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Continually strives to improve skills and knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be comfortable being on the phone

  • Must be able to meet deadlines.
