Their duties often include driving new or used cars between locations, performing basic vehicle inspections, and ensuring cars are handled safely and professionally. They may also assist with vehicle organization on dealership lots, keep records of deliveries, and occasionally help with customer service. Dealership service shops rely on drivers to move cars in and out of service bays and keep vehicle lots neat, and you may move units to create new displays. Larger automotive groups may require you to drive a courtesy shuttle between dealerships or around the lot.
