AUTOMOTIVE DEALER TITLE CLERK for Superior Car Credit in East Dundee, IL!

1+ Years Dealership Title Clerk Experience is Required

Earn from $43,680 to $45,760+/yr (based on experience, salary negotiable)

Superior Car Credit has grown to four successful locations over our 20 years. Due to continued growth and high customer demand, we are seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our accounting office team. This position is responsible for processing vehicle tags & titles using the respective states/agencies guidelines and in accordance with our company policies, in a timely and accurate manner to ensure THE HIGHEST LEVEL of Customer Satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Enters Data ACCURATELY every day

  • Processes all vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled

  • Prepares tax and title documents

  • Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications

  • Checks for accuracy in the applications and ensures that all information is complete

  • Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles

  • Follow up on titles from auctions

  • Release liens and send titles out on paid-in-full accounts, insurance pay-offs, outside pay-offs and wholesale vehicles

What We Seek:

  • Minimum High School Diploma

  • 1+ yrs Dealership Title Clerk Experience Required

  • Franchise, Independent or BHPH Dealer Title Clerk Experience Preferred

  • DMV state title office experience will be considered

  • Very high attention to detail and accuracy of information

  • Omnique Software Experience a PLUS

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Good computer skills

  • Strong phone etiquette/skills

  • Mature, reliable, responsible, on-time

  • Any auto collections department or buy-here-pay-here office experience is a PLUS

  • Professional demeanor/attitude

  • Experience in performing administrative tasks
