Job description

  • Must wear proper PPE when applicable (i.e. safety glasses, non-slip 6" boots, gloves)
  • Clean vehicle exterior & interior by hand, brush and/or overhead pressure washer
  • Determine need for service and notify appropriate personnel
  • Perform basic maintenance checks & walk-around inspection (with electronic documentation)
  • Help maintain accurate fleet inventory status in rental software system
  • Determine need for maintenance and/or repairs, and notify appropriate personnel
  • Move vehicles to/from Service, Quick Lane, and Collision departments
  • Verify expiration of registration & plates, and all vehicles are properly identified with vinyl decals
  • Responsible for laundering towels and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and tools
  • Recommend process improvements, including tools for improved efficiency
  • May assist with local vehicle deliveries
