Job description

A busy, well-established collision repair facility in Pawcatuck CT is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our growing production team.


This high-volume shop serves drivers throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island.  With a steady flow of insurance and customer-pay repairs, you'll have consistent work and the support of an experienced team committed to producing high-quality repairs.


We're looking for a technician who takes pride in doing repairs the right way, works efficiently, and understands the importance of following OEM repair procedures. This roll will begin with disassembly, and has advancement opportunities. We are growing so if you have experience in the auto collision repair fields and you're ready to join a stable shop where quality craftsmanship is valued, we'd like to speak with you.


What You'll Do

  • Remove and assess the damage of body panels and components
  • Provide parts list for needed repairs, often against insurance claims parts list
  • Follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications
  • Read and execute repair plans accurately
  • Work closely with estimators, painters, parts personnel, and production staff
  • Order and return parts


What We're Looking For

  • Previous collision repair/body technician experience
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques and equipment
  • Ability to read and follow repair plans
  • Understanding of Insurance claims
  • CCC experience a plus
  • Dependable work ethic and positive team attitude
  • I-CAR certifications are a plus but not required
  • Parts inventory management a plus
  • Some Database or CRM experience a plus
