What are auto body technicians?

Auto body technicians are skilled professionals who repair and restore the exterior and structural parts of vehicles that have been damaged in accidents, weather events, or through everyday wear and tear. They assess the extent of vehicle damage, remove and replace damaged parts, straighten frames, and refinish surfaces to restore vehicles to their original condition. Auto body technicians often work with specialized tools and techniques, including welding, painting, and computerized measuring systems.
