Job description

Decker's Auto Body Inc is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our family-owned and operated repair facility. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in all aspects of auto body repair and painting, working within a small team environment to deliver high-quality workmanship on a variety of mainstream, luxury, and specialty vehicles. This role demands reliability, tool ownership, and a commitment to excellence, with opportunities for overtime and a sign-on bonus after 90 days of continuous employment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform auto body repair and surface preparation
  • Execute vehicle painting using spray painting equipment
  • Conduct welding and parts replacement as required
  • Maintain and handle personal repair tools responsibly
  • Collaborate within a small team and report directly to the Shop Manager
  • Manage occasional overtime to meet workload demands

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in auto body repair
  • Must have own tools for performing repairs and painting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in auto body repair and painting techniques
  • Skilled in tool handling and surface preparation
