Job description

Job Summary
Auffenberg Dealer Group is seeking an Autobody Collision Repair Technician (A or B Level Technician) to join our team in Belleville, IL. The Autobody Collision Repair Technician is responsible for performing all body repairs while meeting the company's established quality standards.  The successful candidate must be highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation of up to $35 per hour, paid weekly.
Compensation & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package. Benefits, including health insurance, may be offered depending on the role.
Responsibilities
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Accurately diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul automotive vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and estimate repair costs
• Dismantle and reassemble vehicle components
• Perform body work on vehicles and supervise repair technicians
• Follow and ensure automotive service quality standards are met
• Keep records of repairs and maintenance
• Prepare invoices for customers and manage payments
Requirements
• Proven working experience as an Autobody Collision Repair Technician
• Knowledge of tools, parts, and safety standards
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Ability to handle several tasks and work with a sense of urgency
