Job Description:
Overview Bisbee Honda of Danville is currently seeking experienced Auto Body Technicians to join our team in our new 30,000 square foot, fully air-conditioned, state-of-the-art facility located in Danville, Virginia. This is a full-time position aimed at supporting the high and growing volume of body repair work. Responsibilities Perform thorough, safe, and profitable vehicle repairs in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, insurance partner requirements, and industry standards. Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in damage assessment and repair planning. Use repair plan technology to ensure efficient and effective repairs. Identify all necessary repairs to minimize supplements and reduce repair time. Follow work orders and plan procedures for all repair operations. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access damaged areas while protecting parts from damage. Repair damaged body parts by hammering, filling dents, welding broken parts, and ensuring proper fit and alignment according to industry standards. Remove and replace damaged panels, fenders, grills, bolts, and weld replacement parts. Operate hand and power tools including welders, soldering equipment, cutting torches, sanders, and spray guns. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before handing over vehicles to the Paint Department. Inspect and test drive vehicles to ensure safety and quality compliance. Perform related duties such as washing vehicles and maintaining shop cleanliness. Job Requirements Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
