Position: General Accounting Associate
Status: Full-Time


Dealership: Head Office - Richmond
Department: Accounting

Compensation: $26.00 per hour

Your contribution:

  • Reconcile and post daily cash receipts
  • Post warranty payments from manufacturers
  • Handle bank reconciliation for multiple dealerships
  • Collect overdue payment from customers
  • Set up charge accounts
  • Perform intercompany transactions with stores within and in other regions
  • Send monthly AR statement
  • Assist Senior Accountants with various tasks
  • Month-end and year-end close
  • Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor
  • Other work assigned

What it takes to be part of our dynamic team:

  • Minimum 1 year' experience in bookkeeping/accounting
  • experienced with bank reconciliations
  • Proficient with Excel and use of formulas
  • Good understanding of accounting debits and credits
  • Experienced with reconciling and analyzing accounts
  • Ability to process high volume of transactions efficiently
  • Self-motivated and ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Automotive experience using CDK would be an asset
