Ready to take the next step in your automotive career?

Whether you're an entry-level accountant looking to build your career or you've worked as a dealership receptionist, warranty administrator, or office administrator and want to move into accounting, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

At Go Auto, we believe in promoting from within. Many of our accounting leaders started in entry-level positions, and we're looking for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and excited to grow with one of Canada's largest automotive groups.

What You'll Do

As an Accounting Clerk, you'll play an important role in keeping the dealership's financial operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Vehicle Deals: Post new, used, wholesale, dealer trade, and fleet transactions
  • Balance & Accuracy: Maintain accurate schedules and ensure financial records are up to date
  • Factory Reconciliations: Reconcile manufacturer programs to ensure every dollar owed is collected
  • Invoice Processing: Enter vehicle invoices into CDK accurately and efficiently
  • Commission Processing: Calculate and process sales commissions accurately and on time
  • Sales Support: Maintain schedules that help the sales team track performance
  • Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Audit Support: Prepare fiscal year-end working papers and assist with the annual audit process
What We're Looking For

We're less focused on finding someone who has done every task before and more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • An accounting certificate, diploma, or are working toward an accounting designation
  • Or previous experience in an automotive dealership in a receptionist, office administration, warranty, accounting, or similar support role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Confidence working with computers and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • The ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow
Why Join Go Auto?
  • Build your career with mentorship and clear opportunities to grow into Accountant, Senior Accountant, Controller, and beyond
  • Gain hands-on experience across a variety of accounting functions
  • Join a collaborative team that values learning, growth, and supporting one another
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive health, dental, HSA, and LSA benefits
  • Enjoy 3 to 5 weeks of vacation based on tenure
  • Be recognized through programs like Employee of the Month and President's Circle
  • Work for one of Canada's largest automotive groups with long-term career opportunities
