Job Requirements and Qualities

Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Special Education, Rehabilitative Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analyst
A report of "no findings" when criminal history checks are completed
Prior experience with persons with developmental disabilities (preferred)
Able to pass a Department of Child Services background check
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Our founder, Joy Shao, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA#1-11-8387), has nearly 20 years experiences in working with children and teens diagnosed with autism and other related disorders. She is specialized in Verbal Behavior assessment, creating individualized behavioral treatment plans, training one-on-one behavioral therapist, and developing and providing personalized parent training. She is passionate about using her knowledge and experiences to help the children and families with autism.
Since serving the children with Autism back in 2010, Above All Autism Center has been a renovating ABA service provider in Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Orange County area in home, school, and community settings. We accept Medi-cal, most private and business insurance plans. There are limited immediate openings for patients in those areas. We care about the satisfaction of our clients and guarantee top of the line ABA services.
