Job description

Psychosocial workers Willing to work in the area mentioned and ideally owns a means of transport. Ability to intervene in one of the following settings: school, community, home, mental health, ID-ASD, RPA, CLSC, CHSLD, hospitals, youth organizations, rehabilitation. Location: Abitibi-Quebec, Canada (home and partner establishments) Contract type: Full-time or part-time (permanent/fixed-term contract depending on needs) Schedule: Day, evening or night depending on assignments and availability Compensation: up to $37.50/assignment + bonuses, transportation reimbursement, continuing education MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: To offer psychosocial support to children, adolescents, adults or families according to their needs. Intervening in mental health with a caring and professional approach (skills development, emotion management, support for social development). Plan and lead individual or group interventions. Collaborating with schools, families, and community organizations. Follow up on files according to professional standards. Write clinical reports in compliance with confidentiality (Law 25). Use a person-centered approach that promotes autonomy, inclusion, and social participation. To actively contribute to a safe and humane environment. REQUIREMENTS: DEC in social work or in a related field (special education, community intervention, human techniques). 1 to 2 years of experience (an asset in school, community, ID-ASD, mental health, youth, RPA settings). Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability. Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary collaboration. Respect for ethics, confidentiality and the professional code of conduct. Criminal record check (mandatory). Driving licence (an asset depending on the mandates).
