Job description

  • Key Responsibilities - Perform high-fidelity aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic simulations and frequency response calculations. -
  • Support Ground Vibration Testing (GVT) and Flight Flutter Testing (FFT) analysis.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain structural finite element models (FEM).
  • Maintain, develop, and document in-house engineering software tools and methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering disciplines (Aerodynamics, Structures, Mass Properties, and Flight Controls).
  • Author comprehensive engineering certification reports and presentations in English.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace specialization preferred).
  • Proven experience in aeroelasticity, aeroservoelasticity, and dynamic stability analyses within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools, specifically Nastran.
  • Advanced programming skills in MATLAB, Python, Fortran, or C/C++.
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods Directorate clearance).
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English, with strong conversational French skills.
