Position: System Integration Specialist
LCAT: Mid
Location: SOUTHCOM HQ, Doral, FL / On-site
Office: U.S. SOUTHERN COMMAND J2
Required clearance: TS/SCI
Required education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in system integration.
Description:
  • Ensure interoperability between JIRA and GitLab by configuring automated workflows for task tracking, reporting, and approvals.
  • Establish authentication integrations with the sponsoring Command's Microsoft Active Directory (Azure AD) to enforce CAC/PIV-based access controls in accordance with DoD identity management policies.
  • Submit the System Interoperability & Security Integration Report, documenting authentication measures, security compliance, and integration workflows.
Required Experience:
  • Possess the knowledge and capability to integrate JIRA, GitLab, and other IT service management tools, ensuring seamless data synchronization and workflow automation.
  • Must be proficient in API integrations, system interoperability, and secure authentication protocols.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills are required to streamline data exchange between platforms.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in integrating ITSM platforms, developing API-based solutions, and ensuring secure identity federation.
  • Experience with OAuth, SAML, and enterprise authentication protocols is required.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Desirable but not required certifications include ITIL Foundation Certification or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
