Therapy Aura Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our exceptional team of professionals. This full-time position allows you to work remotely, providing essential mental health services to a diverse population in San Antonio, Texas. Work Environment

This role offers a remote work setting, which promotes flexibility and adaptability in your schedule. At Therapy Aura Clinic, we operate from Monday through Saturday, providing you with the freedom to design a work-life balance that suits your needs, choosing to work between 10 and 40 hours per week. We facilitate in-house credentialing and handle the logistics of insurance participation and scheduling, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to evaluate their mental health needs.
  • Providing clinical interventions, including therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities tailored to the patientโ€™s goals.
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring integration with medical and community resources.
  • Documenting client progress and treatment interventions accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with ethical and departmental standards.
  • Offering case management services where you engage with external healthcare providers and community organizations to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for your clients.
  • Participating in regular meetings, including patient rounds, to discuss treatment strategies and enhance the quality of care provided to clients.
  • Providing crisis intervention and support as necessary, demonstrating sensitivity and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with encompass a wide range of demographics, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our clinic focuses on outpatient therapy, allowing you to engage meaningfully with patients over time, fostering therapeutic alliances that contribute to their healing journeys.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) as recognized by the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health therapy or counseling in an outpatient or community health setting.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-centered environment while also managing individual client caseloads effectively.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, applicants with the following experiences are highly encouraged to apply:

  • Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed therapies.
  • Familiarity with community health resources and a strong network of contacts within San Antonioโ€™s mental health landscape.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and credentials. In addition, we provide:
