Analog Devices is seeking to hire a product engineer to support the development of RF/microwave designs to be used in Communications, Test & Measurement Instrumentation, Industrial, and Aerospace and Defense. Job Levels available:Staff Product Engineer to support product development of microwave and communication products within our RF Systems strategy under Aerospace Defense and Communication GroupBusiness Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of advanced RF/microwave IC products from concept to launch
  • Drive innovation in product development processes and testing methodologies
  • Provide technical leadership on major projects
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Influence product strategy and roadmaps
  • Conduct analysis and testing to ensure product performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product design meets customer needs and requirements.
  • Create technical documentations such as test plans, product datasheets, user guides.
  • Develop and maintain project work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD preferred in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of RF engineering principles and concepts, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (PCB layout tools, Cadence Allegro) and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Recognized expertise in complex IC design and advanced testing methodologies
  • Distinguished problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven track record of technical leadership
  • Hands-on experience of using instruments in the lab.
  • Coursework or exposure in one or more of the following Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, Digital Communication, RF Systems, RF Circuits
  • Excellent analytical skills: critical thinking, enhanced data analysis.
  • Familiarity with the use of programming/scripting tools such as C programming, Python, LabVIEW a plus
  • Good initiative and motivation in a challenging environment.
  • Strong team worker within multi-discipline and multi-cultural environments
  • Self-motivated and fast learner with strong technical, analytical and communication skills.
